This is a complete re-vamp of an earlier video that I made a couple of years ago (not posted on this site). Unfortunately, whilst rendering, the music has gone slightly out of sync with the video. There is nothing I can do about this, and it is most noticeable around the 50 - 60 second mark. I hope it does not spoil your enjoyment too much.

In some sequences there are 10 still photos inserted that cover just over a second, and after rendering only about 6 actually show, which does put the video slightly out of sync. I have actually made quite a few parachute jumps out of one of the Rapide’s featured in this video…G-AKIF, but it was many years ago in my younger days. :) I don’t know whether India Foxtrot is still about today, but there are a few Rapide’s still flying. Re: Hercules Thanks MM. Actually its quite easy to fly multiple aircraft, providing they are all the same type, and wearing the same skin. It can get quite difficult and confusing when flying loads of different types though. :-) MikeW @ 2008-07-12

Re: Fly Navy Never figured out how to use the elevators. Just start the programe, fly a helicoter to the carrier, land, change the helicopter to a Tomcat and save the flight. Now every time you start Flight Deck 5 there is the Tomcat ready to fly. Hope I have understood you question correctly. MikeW @ 2008-07-17

I've not yet seen any videos featuring helicopters on this site, so thought I would upload this one which I made some time ago. The story behind this video is: On a Newsgroup I frequent one of the guys, Snake Eyes, challenged the group to make a video to the tune of 'Rhapsody in Blue' by George Gershwin. Now this is not my kind of music but I thought I would give it a go. With this video, remember, I started off with the sound track first, and then filled in the flying sequences. It's a bit different but hope you enjoy it.

Re: Tribute to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Well spotted! You’re absolutely correct, the BBMF do not have this type of Hurricane. It got miss-selected when I was making the video. It only appears in that one scene near the end. For those that are interested here is the story. In 1941, Yugoslavian engineers tested the Hurricane airframe with a DB601A motor for comparison to the BF109E. The result was found to be superior in climb and take-off performance. When the Germans attacked, the single example was destroyed by factory workers. MikeW @ 2008-06-02
